MLK Day of Service 2020 - Meal Pack | Schaumburg IL
On Monday, January 20th, to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr Day of Service, Islamic Relief USA will be joining forces with our partners to help combat hunger by assembling meals to assist our neighbors in the Chicago area.
WHEN:
Monday, January 20th: 6:00pm-7:30pm
WHERE:
740 Wiley Farm Court, Schaumburg, IL 60173
WHAT:
We will be packaging meals; Volunteers will hand-pack rice, soy, dried vegetables and a nutritionally blend of vitamins and minerals into bags which are then sealed, boxed, placed on pallets and shipped to partners around the world to reach children that need it the most.
Additional Information:
- IRUSA shirts will be provided at the event, please select your shirt size when signing up for this event.
- Age Restriction: If you are planning to bring a child under the age of 14 please email the coordinator listed below for approval.
