2023 Adventure Challenge | South Africa
Come on an epic multi-day adventure with Islamic Relief USA and explore the magnificent peaks of South Africa while supporting vulnerable communities in the region! Discover the wonders of South Africa as you immerse yourself in its raw, unspoiled beauty and challenge yourself both physically and mentally while trekking through breathtaking landscapes. Traverse iconic peaks, take a dip in cold waters, and slide down amazing dunes.
Limited spots are available, so don't miss out on this incredible opportunity! Islamic Relief will cover the costs of transportation within South Africa, including to/from the airport, 3 meals/day for the duration of the trip, 10 nights' accommodation, costs of all activities and tours, and entrance fees for sites/parks. However, you will be responsible for your own transportation to/from South Africa (including flights and baggage expenses), selected meals on arrival/departure dates, snacks outside of meals, souvenir/gift shopping, personal expenses, medical expenses (travel insurance is required), and hiking equipment (boots, poles), as well as all other expenses outside of Islamic Relief's South Africa Trek Challenge (extra tours, stays, transportation, meals).Your fundraising goal is to raise $2,000, which will go directly towards supporting Islamic Relief's ongoing and completed projects in Cape Town, South Africa.
Dates: November 19, 2023- November 26, 2023 (once you express interest - you will automtically be signed up for all days of the challenge)
Lodging: Gender separated Hotel Rooms

- - Vaccination Status: Double Vaccinated
- - Physically fit
- - No serious medical/health conditions that could affect the well-being (ie. physical injuries, heart condition, pregnancy) *Consult with your doctor*
- - Must sign release waiver, and agree to a background check
- - Must be able to attend all days of the challenge.
