Atlanta 100K Meal Pack | Atlanta GA | February 2025
Join us for the first 100K packout in Atlanta GA!!!
Islamic Relief USA will be joining forces with Emory University, Emory Oxford University, Georgia Tech University, Morehouse College, Ogle Thorpe University, Clark Atlanta University, Spelman College, and the Atlanta community to help combat hunger by assembling meals for our neighbors in need. We need your help to assemble *100,000* meals!
WHEN:
Set Up Shift: Saturday | February 15th | 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Packaging Shift: Saturday | February 15th | 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
WHERE: Emory Student Center - Multipurpose Rooms 1-6 | 605 Asbury Cir, Atlanta, GA 30322
Additional Information:
- IRUSA shirts will be provided at the event, please select your shirt size when signing up for this event. If you already have a shirt, please bring it with you to wear for the event.
- Age Restriction: If you are planning to bring a child under the age of 13 please email the coordinator listed below so that your child may be listed as a guest (capacity permitting).
- Family members from the same household will be permitted to work at the same station. All members over the age of 13 must register independently to complete screening questions
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Please arrive at the scheduled shift time.
- Please sanitize your hands before, during, and after the project.
- If you have a fever, please stay home!
- Volunteers are kindly requested to stay 30 minutes after the event for clean up!
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS:
- If you or someone you live with is considered high risk, please consider volunteering in person at a later date.
- If you are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID, please cancel or let your volunteer coordinator know (even if it is the morning of the project).
- If you are unsure of the risk associated with participating in this project, please reach out to our staff!
- Please refer to the CDC for recommendations and guidelines for most up to date information regarding COVID-19.
Do not attend a volunteer project if in the last 14 days you have:
Interacted with anyone who had or has COVID-19
Had a fever
Have experienced symptoms that could be related to COVID-19
Have had COVID-19
