Day of Dignity Pack Out | Houston TX | July 2026
Islamic Relief USA is back for another Weekend of Service and calling on our Blueshirts to help at our upcoming Day of Dignity Pack Out to later be distributed at our signature Day of Dignity event! We need our blueshirts to assist with packaging kits for our local neighbors in need. We need your help to make this a success!
Tasks May Include:
- Building boxes with tape
- Handling small items
- Packing items into boxes
- *Palletizing boxes*
*We will need a lot of help with palletizing finished boxes!*
- Preparing boxes and kits for delivery and pick up
- Lifting and handling 30 pound boxes
Where: 951 Tristar Dr, Webster, TX 77598, USA
When: Friday July 10 - Sunday, July 12 *Multiple Shifts!*
July 10 Set up Shift- 10:00am-1:30pm 25 Volunteers
July 11: Shift 1 DOD packout: 9:00am-1:00pm 40 Volunteers
July 11: Shift 2 DOD packout: 1:00pm-4:30pm 40 Volunteers
July 12: Shift 3 DOD packout: 9:00am-1:00pm 40 Volunteers
July 12 Shift 4 DOD packout: 1:00pm-4:30pm 40 Volunteers
- Age Restriction: Since this is a warehouse, children under the age of 13 will not be able to attend due to safety restrictions. If you have any questions, please email the project coordinator.
Additional Information:
- IRUSA shirts will be provided at the event, please select your shirt size when signing up for this event. They are short sleeves so please plan accordingly.
- ***Please dress comfortably and light***
